The Spaceship Next Door

Gene Doucette

White uppercase title lettering fills the centre of the black cover. “SPACESHIP” and “NEXT DOOR” have narrow, irregular hand-drawn-looking letters; the smaller “THE” is more regular sans serif. A thin silhouetted skyline sits beneath a pink-to-blue strip of sky, while a small saucer and pale vertical beam appear below the title. “GENE DOUCETTE” is set in large, narrow white lettering near the bottom, with “A NOVEL” beneath it.
