Agnes Aubert's Mystical Cat Shelter

Heather Fawcett

The cover combines many illustrated cats, books, tea items and ornate furnishings in framed panels around a large central title. The title runs use a distinctive custom-looking display face, with elongated uppercase letters and decorative cutouts; the author name appears in a similar cream display style. The smaller author-credit line is dark blue and uses a separate, slanted typeset face. The title and author lettering are cream, while the overall cover is built from peach, dark blue, burgundy and purple regions. Typography and illustration have comparable visual weight.
