Anathema (The Eating Woods)

Keri Lake

The main title, “ANATHEMA,” uses highly stylized ornamental lettering with pointed, decorative forms; it is best classified as decorative display, though its serif-like construction makes the family somewhat ambiguous. The author name is a separate, widely spaced serif style in pale blue. A back-turned figure stands within a dense, cool-toned forest, with a bird visible among the upper branches; the title is prominent, but the forest imagery remains the primary visual structure.
