The Heirs

Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé

The large, faceted cream-and-orange title, “THE HEIRS,” sits centrally in two stacked lines. The author’s name appears in cream uppercase lettering near the top. Illustrated objects—including a violin, chess pieces, buttons, a key, scissors, and a teacup—are scattered around the title over a black-to-charcoal background.
