Downstate: A Novella (Special Agent Constant Marlowe)

Jeffery Deaver

A photographic cornfield and central dirt path lead toward a distant farm building beneath a grey sky, with graphic rays behind the lettering. The main title, “DOWNSTATE,” is a large, condensed cyan-blue uppercase sans serif line at the bottom. Jeffery Deaver’s name appears above it in two large cyan-blue uppercase lines; smaller white copy sits near the top and between the image and title.
