The Hammer Horror Omnibus

John Burke

The upper half is dominated by the red, angular display lettering of “HAMMER,” with white “HORROR,” “THE,” and “OMNIBUS” stacked around it. “HORROR” has prominent narrow serif forms; the other title lettering is primarily sans serif or display-styled. The white condensed sans-serif author name, “JOHN BURKE,” sits near the bottom above smaller supporting copy. A large central face and surrounding illustrated faces and figures form a dense, layered composition against dark teal and navy branches and architecture.
